My favourite picks are below
Jacket 1: Matalan PU Biker Jacket - £30
Jacket 6: Next Long PU Biker Jacket - £55
Do you have a biker jacket? Should I buy the Dorothy Perkins black one or the Mango Tan (do not say both even though my heart is saying I should!)
Anyone for tennis? Why does this outfit remind me of a US Mom about to pretend to play tennis at the tennis club?

PS - Since saying I am beat/done in/exhausted I seem to have found my blogging mojo - sometimes all it takes is to admit defeat and before you know it you're back on form!
Hi there! wow, cute outfit, very fresh and nautical! I also love a biker jacket, I've my black leather one from Primark which I thrifted about 3 years ago and love and earlier this year I thrifted a stone colour pleather one with studs by New Look. I like the Mango style one but with winter looming I think a black one would get more wear xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm off to Primark on Monday - I am hoping to bag myself a bargain!
DeleteI LOVE the F&F jacket! I still have my Boden leather jacket from a couple of years ago that I love and of course my red one from Zara that I can't wait to wear again! And yes - you'd fit in very well at my YMCA like that:) Love the white skirt.
ReplyDeleteOh yes the red Zara one - perfection! I want one I can just throw on without thinking .. I'd be thinking too much if I had a red one
DeleteHaha - I was thinking about your blogging mojo! Seems it just needed a kick up the jacksie and I'm very pleased about that. I'm not a fan of black bikers - think they are still a tragic biker-wannabe/mid-life crisis kind of jacket to own. BUT I do love them in a colour. The F&F one would be my pick too. Hubby hates them actually but that never puts me off. Always go for leather though. I have a PU one and it's minging to wear :) x
ReplyDeleteI did need that kick up the arse that I gave myself!!
DeleteSome biker jackets can look butch and strange but some can look dainty and nice - I'm opting for the latter look when I find one!
Interesting about the PU one .. I shall try and see what I find (pending limited budget)
So glad you have found your mojo. I just read your 'had enough' post and it made me giggle, do you do that whole points thing with your other half, I did an hour in the garden, so you owe me at least an hour of ironing, hoovering or similar......and then feel guilty when you get some time to read blogs or drink coffee and he is working to keep the wolves at bay?
ReplyDeleteI like your point scoring idea - I shall use this for sure!
DeleteThe mojo is back good and proper. Now can you find mine? I think I lost it at the local park where I seem to be residing since the school hols started. It's been a bit of a struggle of late.
ReplyDeleteBikers - I would like a really nice black leather one. Infact I would like Marlene's Kady leather jacket but budgets dictate I go high street. But I haven't found the right one yet - so many considerations and usually the leather is too hard, too thick, too many zips, too short in the body and so the list goes on. I'm a bit picky. I have a Zara wannabee but I have to get the lint roller over it every time I wear it (the wool part). But I've managed this long without, what's another year (break out in to Johnny Logan song).
I agree that a biker jacket is not just a simple choice - as you say, lots of things to consider. I'm going to make it my winter mission to find the perfect one! I shall share with you when I do!
DeletePS - look under the sofa for your lost mojo!
