Here's what I got today (which by the way had been screwed up in a bag for 2 weeks and was CREASE FREE)
I couldn't wait to try the things on so I stripped off in my kitchen and they were gorgeous (except 1 piece, see below).
I then decided to take some proper selfie photos with shoes on etc
This dress is gorgeous, right length, gorgeous pattern, hides bumps, can be dressed up or down - I am loving it!
This is just a different colour and don't need this so have sold to a friend.
Now I am keeping this but just realised that I've totally styled it like a person that gets dressed in the dark! It's MUCH better with jeans/trainers and I love that it's a long top, fab quality tshirt material and is so different for me. Thinking white jeans in the summer will be nice too.
So did I make the right choices to keep the red dress and long sleeved tshirt?

Oh you suit that dress so well - it's gorgeous on you. I prefer the red colour way too. As for the tops - both lovely too...but I think good choice to keep the long sleeved one and you really should sell the other one to me ;) xx
ReplyDeleteOh I'm glad you said the red because I was just wondering if the other colour would be better to keep but I don't own much red yet always feel very RAH when I do (this is a good thing)!!
DeleteThe top is sold to you :-)
LOVE the yellow and cobalt shirt sleeve top with cobalt pumps!!! So fresh and modern and perfect for spring. I need that shirt ;)
ReplyDeleteYou should find it in Target - $19.99

DeleteDO DO DO DO and report back!
DeleteAs for dress, definitely the red version.
ReplyDeleteThe red dress looks fab! I think PP is two chaps but I could be wrong...!
ReplyDeleteOh interesting .. !
DeleteRed dress kept!
The red dress is FAB ... especially with the blue shoes. Not the red shoes - too predictable! But with the blue shoes, it's a knock out! And yes, the colour suits you better than the blue & yellow one. Love the two tops ... laughing at your comment about getting dressed in the dark :) Think you've made a good decision on the ones you're keeping x
ReplyDeleteThe blue shoes (next blog post tomorrow) are gorgeous in colour and I really do need some as they are so versatile. So pleased everyone went for the red dress too! Shall I wear to London?!
DeleteYup, the ones you're keeping are fab on you! Great colours, really nice and vibrant. x
ReplyDeleteI am excited about wearing them when the weather heats up!
DeleteFiona, I am so so sorry but I do need to be bland (as you know me):
ReplyDeleteEuuucccchhhh, Peter Pilotto better be fogotten about.
I get nervous shakes looking at those prints, they make me unsettled for some reason.
Don't know what all the hype is about - would never ever wear it.
Your legs are to die for though ♥
LOL I love you @michaela!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI shall wear with pride and think of you each time!
First and last looks are awesome on you and keepers!! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat minds - keeping both!
DeleteThat red print dress looks great on you I love it with the blue pumps and actually the two tops look pretty cool too, I have the long sleeve one in red and for £20 I think it is pretty good value. Can't wait to see you rocking the red dress in london x
ReplyDeleteI reckon I might wear in London - it's comfy, it hides all that needs hiding and for me it's so different!
DeleteOh Fiona, you look amazing!! The red dress is perfect on you. And the long sleeved top is fab too. It's so nice to see how good they can look! Liz xxx
ReplyDeleteSuch kind words, thank you Liz :-)
DeleteI thought you looked fab in yours BTW
The dresses look AMAZING on you. Omg I am going to have to pap so you can how totally GRIM they look on me. Seriously that is how they should look, you look fantastic in it but the red definitely suits you better. x
ReplyDeleteDid you post you in yours? I'd like to see/link here!
DeleteWit woo you look fandabbydozey x
ReplyDeleteThank you! I did feel very nice in it I have to say
DeleteThey all look gorgeous on you.Keep them all!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the red print dress on you. I have to say, I'm not good with prints but love seeing them on other people and I agree with everyone else - it goes a treat with the blue shoes! A definite keeper.
ReplyDeleteI know we have talked about this away from the blog, but I am blown away by how much more expensive this line is for you all in the UK. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I share with you the love for that last top. I own it and find it to be one of the better produced items in the line, very nice soft cotton, just a touch oversized for comfort, and true to life colors. I look forward to styling it with some cobalt jeans I have from a few years back.
these look great on you, some people in the office got a couple of pieces, but it's such a particular set of colours, they either 'work' or not.
ReplyDeleteOne of my girls has the dress and it is really nice, I liked the whole collection but too young for me although I may pinch her pumps! x
ReplyDeleteI love the last top. Its a gorgeous pattern and colour. I think it looks really good the way you have styled it!
ReplyDeleteThe red dress looks really nice too.
:0)

ReplyDeleteLove the red dress on you! I have the long sleeve tee in the red print. The fabric is so soft and comfy!
