Pretty Scarves - how many?

How many scarves do you own? I own 24!!!

When do I wear a scarf:
When it's cold to keep my neck warm
When it's hot - I use to protect me (burnt chest anyone?!)
When I'm cool, I wrap around my shoulders to take the chill off in the day/evening

Where to wear a scarf:
Around your neck
Around your waist as a sarong
Around your body as a cover up
Around your head as a headscarf when in a convertible car!!!!

There are so many ways to tie a scarf and I'm still working out how to do a crib sheet of simple diagrams to teach you new ways. We ALL get stuck in a scarf styling rut and I bet we only ever use 1 of 3 ways regularly.

I also sell scarves which makes my addition to the collection too easy. I can't stop stealing them!

Here are some of my favourite ones. Click HERE to buy online. I'm currently offering free delivery so just select 'local pick up' at the checkout.

Here I am in some of my favourite scarves

Go on, count how many scarves you have and tell me you have more than 24 (I actually thought I had a lot more, 24 is sheer amateur stuff)!

  1. Given that you sell scarves I think 24 is quite restrained, I imagined it would be an awful lot more than that... I have more than 10 but less than 24. Maybe around 15. I've never counted them up!

I think my favourite of yours is the pink and blue leopard print one.

  2. Hi my love!! Ooh your scarf collection looks gorgeous - lots of different colours and patterns which all look so versatile and stylish! I reckon I've around 2 dozen too, I've not worn them as often as last year, but I think I'll make the effort now! Have a great weekend!! xx

  4. I seriously have no idea but I only wear maybe about 10 of them. And I just sold 10 to a friend as well. I have to say my colour palate is a lot more subdued than yours - I used to have a lot more colours I'm sure of it.

And only 24? Where are the rest? In which wardrobe in which room?

    1. Seriously, I only own 24! The shop owns a lot more!
I think you can wear a dull outfit and jazz it up with neck candy :-)!

  5. About the same as you but I don't wear them all. In fact I am most certainly taking a couple of the unworn ones on hol this year to use as sarongs. It doesn't matter if they are ruined xx

    1. EXACTLY! I'm going to be doing the same too. I ALWAYS burn on my chest and they're great for a light cover up

  6. I have far more than I can count! I m over 6 ft so getting clothes isn t always easy. Changing scarves/ necklaces can completely change an outfit , so much so that people often comment that I must have a massive wardrobe! How wrong they are

  7. I may have to raise you a few on the scarf front.....more than 24 but I haven't counted recently and I know a few have been added of late! They are great for an added bit of warmth on a chilly morning and really jazz up a plain outfit! I love your Missoni looking scarf....that is something that is missing from my scarf collection! xx

  8. I only have a couple, I am not a massive fan of scarves except my LV one which I wear constantly. I just don't feel anything lives up to that one although I see how good they look on others and how they can lift an outfit x

    1. I was scrolling down to comment and this made me smile. Because I probably have about 2 dozen also ... but if I owned the LV one like Sharron, I think the rest would probably be sent off to the charity store :)

    2. If I had an LV one then I would ONLY EVER wear that!!

  10. I have many. My faves are the big chunky ones worn when it is really chilly. I love a leopard and a black, a grey and a cream. I need to thin mine out as I only wear about a third of them. I would love a really stunning designer scarf, one day, but I can never quite justify spending so much money on just one scarf. H xx

      I couldn't spend more than £10 on a scarf - I love too many!

  11. I dread to think how many scarves are stashed away around the house. I am always cold so I can't do without a scarf especially in the autumn/winter. Loving all the huge scarves that are around and how they can double up as sarongs on the beach.

    1. I'm going to use some of mine for just that - sarong!

  12. I'm not counting, I'm not counting! Actually I've just had a good clear out but I still think I have more than 24! And yes, I wear pretty much one of two ways, halved they looped through or just slung round my neck, so some more inspiration would be fab! x

  14. I own quite a few but definitely not that many! I've just had a wardrobe clearout & got rid of quite a few that were looking a bit dated! I now need to replace them! I love your tablecloth one! xx
