Mine are starting to get a bitty tatty and because they're patent they're scuffed unfortunately. Won't stop me wearing them until I find a replacement though!
Here's a round up of potential ones I've found online and a TOTAL leather bargain at £25, is the heel high enough though? Scroll down to find out.
LK Bennett £170 - (I do believe these are the nude heels worn by Catherine Middleton)
Dune - £59 (only available online in size 6 or 7)
Dune - £65 (size 3, 5, 6 and 8 only)
Kaleidscope mid heel nude court shoe - £35
A slight twist due to pattern but my absolute MUST BUY - only £25 and leather! LOTS of sizes available and other colours too (pink/blue etc) - these deserve a post all of their own!
Can you believe Marks and Spencer didn't have a nude court shoe online? Me either!
NEW JOB!
I started a little part time job today! I'm running the social media channels for a creative agency called Planet. It's only an hour a day but so far so good (writing this after having done the first day). I then skip across the way to my second job part time job where I am business development manager/marketing/social media for Performance Web. Today I turned down another job because I don't think I want to work full time or be THAT stressed. The boys have 9 weeks off in the summer and it's a struggle to juggle them and work as it is. So all that "I've got 56 part time jobs" I posted about the other day, is now down to the two mentioned here, blogging, A57 and selling clothes. I think that's enough for now)!!!
What I wore today:
Top: ASOS
Jeans: H&M
Shoes: TK Maxx
Blazer: Zara
Nude heels? Do you own? Yes or no?
Fiona
xoxo
Racking my brains...do I own? Erm a nude-ish fabric pair. Oh yes actually some patent peep toes, nude/blush from new look. I'd been after a pair of peep toes for YEARS but without a god awful 4 inch platform at the front because you know, not 17 anymore. Finally found some in new look two years ago, I didn't want to pay a lot as they really are a spring summer shoe but when it's really hot I wear sandals rather than heels.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is rarely so hot that you can't just wear a court shoe! I do have sandals too (heels) that I can't wait to wear. Apparently Thursday is meant to be nice - I'll wear some more then!
Deleteooo I love the Asos top - It looks fabulous and its a really good look with the skinnies and blazer. The nude heels look super - I think the New look ones are my fav ones.
ReplyDeleteGlad the job scene is working out - You must be very good at compartmentalising your work. I think I would get mixed up as to which work I was doing haha
:0)
Paul
LOL that made me laugh a lot "You must be very good at compartmentalising your work" - no! Actually I have 3 major clients so I use 3 browsers for each - it's not rocket science but it works for me! I've TRIED SO HARD to get hootsuit to work but I hate it!
DeleteGood for you, don't take on too much. I've been on an eternal search for the right pair as always feel they make my feet look even pastier than they are. The other day when dreaming I wondered whether to splurge some time soon on the Loub's I liked, in the nude. But then I know what I'm like, it will take me another year to decide! Those leather ones are a bargain - go on, treat yourself! x
ReplyDeleteSpending ban remember and until the ones I have fall apart (nearly there) I can't buy!
DeleteI always rub a bit of that gradual moisturiser on my feet to help with the pasty white can't see where the flesh starts and the shoe ends!
Loub's - oh my - that would take out my annual shopping budget I reckon!
I don't have a pair of nude shoes anymore. I had a pair of nude ballet pumps which got laid to rest last year after the boys stepped on my toes one too many times but I now need to find a replacement pair. I would love a really nice pair of nude courts though but I keep getting sidelined by more in your face ones. As you do.
ReplyDeleteBTW, you look lovely in the ASOS top and jeans together. With the blazer - perfect!
I have wanted nude ballet pumps for a long time but EVERY TIME I put them on they just look rubbish on me and (like you hint at) they just look like your feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteYou are Superwoman doing all that and looking so stylish whilst doing it, can I borrow some of your drive as I seem to be lacking it at the mo! I have nude heels from M &S which were super cheap and I regularly fall over in, much prefer yours! Xx
ReplyDeleteAnything can be achieved when you ignore your kids and husband - I do this on a daily basis!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteYou look amazing in the ASOS blouse with the blazer and courts!! Well done with the jobs, that's brilliant news!! I bought the M&S nude courts as I felt they were something missing from my wardrobe but I'm yet to wear them! xx
ReplyDeleteShove your black or blue boyf jeans on and off you go - wear wear wear!
DeleteGreat outfit Fiona. I've got out of the habit of wearing a) nude shoes and b) heels. I'm trying to wear more flats this season but my heart is in a heel xx
ReplyDeleteI used to wear only flats so I am loving my confidence for a heel.
DeleteI am seriously lacking a pair of nude pumps but haven't found the perfect pair yet!! I love the bargain New Look ones, and leather?! Wowzer. I have a shopping morning planned this Friday, (vouchers burning a hole in my pocket!!) so will have a nose. Great choices xx
ReplyDeleteoooh hope you bought something nice
DeleteI have just purchased some Dune neutral ( sort of nude ) heels from my shopping spree on Monday. I have popped them on my blog. I have been after a pair for a while now so I am thrilled with them. Well done you for managing to stay on top of everything. H xx
ReplyDeleteWow, go girl......I think the more you have to do, the more supercharged you become! Nude heels are just perfect for a no brainer shoe! xx
ReplyDeleteI tried some nude heels on in M&S (again)! a while ago but they just didnt feel right on me! Once I get back to work they may become a must have! The Kaleidoscope ones are a bargain & I spotted them too whilst scrolling through! Good for you on the work front & agree its too hard to juggle whilst the kids are wee & holidays are always stressful! I'll start hunting again in August & fingers crossed I'm as lucky as you with job offers! xx
ReplyDeleteI love the style of your blog! Font is perfect.
ReplyDeleteOk, now it takes a serious heel to hold my size15 wobble, although I have some tan wedges from M&S that are a bit of a summer staple (looks skyward for sun)....but are those pink mock-croc court shoes from New Look? They remind me of a red pair I had about 10 years ago from there (when I was a mere Size11) that I LOVED!
No worries - found them on Kaleidoscope website and bought them (thank heavens for birthdays!)
DeleteI'm thinking I may need some new jeans to go with my gorgeous raspberry shoes!
Yay my shoes arrived yesterday and they fit beautifully! Now to convince MrS15S that we need to go to dinner that involves very little walking!
DeleteI still love a round toe with my heels - your nude ones are my favourite:) Good luck with the new job, I don't know how you do it all!
ReplyDeleteI definitely love a nude pump... It goes with everything! Love the outfit I- such a pretty blouse.
ReplyDeleteLoving a nude pump too and I'm in the market for one...thanks for all the suggestions. Shame I like the most expensive ones :) Job-wise - I don't know how you fit it all in Fiona - you're a superstar! Hopefully you can squeeze in a coffee with me when I'm over...would be lovely to catch up x
ReplyDeleteYou look fab Fiona - I love nude heels and I've got two fave pairs that have lasted me years. A cute pair of Marc Jacobs pumps and some higher sandals from Daniel. They are great and go with everything, I could do with upgrading now and getting a more pointy pair. x
ReplyDeleteits awesome
