Barcelona

I am currently sat in my day job office drying out. The husband and I went to Barcelona on Friday. We arrived at 9.30pm and were in our first bar for 10pm! I need to tell you something that this (now) 41 yr old needs to take note of ... MIXING YOUR DRINKS ON AN EMPTY STOMACH IS NOT BIG AND IT'S NOT CLEVER.

Have you been to Barcelona? I absolutely love it and is one of my favourite places in the world.

    I've been twice but it doesn't really do anything for me at all. I want to go on an Italian city break now! Fab pictures Fiona and your right, it ain't big and it ain't clever and you really should of known better lol x

      I love it that we're all individual and we all love different things. I never knew I'd love cities as much .. Italian ones you say ... will investigate!
      I can't decide if it was the rose wine, shot of 43, glass of cava, the mojito or the long island iced tea that tipped me over the edge!

    One of my fav places ever! Love Barca and so want to return!! would like to have the cocktails and see that barman too! On a side note, you probably have no clue but I liked the look of the grey cape on your site and clicked on it through to Mango - was delighted to read they ship to USA but when I went to check out there is no option for US - any ideas if they ship here? Thanks - Janey

      Jane they have a USA site! I would have thought that they should direct you straight through. Daft if they don't.

      The bar is called Princessa 23 and whilst the barman is good to look at and the cocktails are amazing the actual bar is like a sports bar and not good!
      The one that IS good is a little one called Bar 9 - that was great!
