I love my denim shirt so much. It was from H&M and cost £19.99. I must remember to wear it more often. I just looked back at my posts on Avenue 57 and it seems I have only worn it 6 times in the past 12 months - that's not a lot! I promise to wear my denim shirt more as I've been really inspired by these looks from Pinterest ...
Here's me wearing mine those 6 times!
I have a darker denim shirt that I never wear because it's a heavier, thicker denim than this lovely light one.
My top 5 picks for the best chambray denim shirt online today:
Topshop - £32
Levi's Via Asos - £60
Mango - £34.99
Marks & Spencer - £25
New Look - £19.99
Do you own a denim shirt (or two)? Where did you buy yours from?

Ooh yes I love a denim shirt or two (or five as is actually the case with me :-0 ....but in my defence all different colours/shades & styles!!!) Really looking forward to wearing mine with my white jeans.

FIVE???? Now that's a GOOD EFFORT!
DeleteMaybe you could use your heavier thicker denim shirt as more of a jacket?
ReplyDeleteI have one which is a inbetweeny. Not quite chambray but still softer than a traditional denim. Either way, I really like it except it could do with being about 4cm shorter. See - you wouldn't have that problem would you?
I do not have that problem (pokes tongue out). I'll tell you something though .. I do have some white linen trousers I want to wear BUT THEY ARE TOO LONG!! There, does that make you happy!!!!
DeleteYes more of a jacket, that's a better way of looking at it
I used to hate them but have been converted and now I really like them. I think they can look fantastic in some outfits. Must admit I like them best with trousers/jeans, but they do look good with skirts as well.

Agreed with trousers and jeans. I hated them for a long time but also changed my mind. I find with things that 'come around again' that it takes me longer to warm up to them.
DeleteI have the H&M shirt which I love, have only recently joined the denim shirt club, now have two, latest a chambray shirt from Top Shop.

Mine's H&M and absolutely perfect! Cannot wait to wear it with white jeans and do the whole double denim thing!
DeleteI have one from Zara, which I deem to be a proper looking denim rather than chambray, and my chambray baggy from Next. I think a shirt like this suits, pretty much, everyone no matter what size or age. H xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a style staple is the denim shirt!! I have 3 but like you haven't worn them at all lately!! Once the weather warms up can't wait to wear my latest acquisition which is a short sleeve one from Topshop......and I look forward to breaking out a Gap chambray shirt that I bought last year......I fancy trying that out with my ripped black skinnies.....style stolen from one of the Olsen twins!! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo of my girls have H&M ones, one has an Oasis one and I have a pale one from the Fearne Cotton at Very range and a dark chambray one from Baukjen. Love the images you've got together x
ReplyDeleteI love mine too! The popper popped off the wrist the other day & I could of cried so I will be on the lookout for another one soon! Mine is from Dorothy Perkins & it was in the sale about a year ago! xx
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for the denim shirt here too! I have two and would love a lighter coloured one for summer so I've my eye on that M&S one now - thanks for finding it for me...saved me a ton of time! Ax
ReplyDeleteLove a denim shirt and I wear mine often. Got my eye on that Levis one - I love the old, dirty denim shades x
