I love mine. I have 2 pairs. One flat and one high. The flat ones were bought for £40 from Deichmann around 3 years ago and the high heeled ones from a random shop in Bristol around 14 years ago. I've just had them resoled to ensure I get a couple more years out of them.
You can't beat tan boots in my eyes. The same for a tan bag - it just adds a certain 'something' that standard brown can't match.
Here's how I wear mine
Where can you buy tan boots today? Finding knee high tan boots with a heel is proving somewhat tricky. If you see any on your travels please let me know!
House of Fraser - £129
Next - £85
Debenhams - £179
DUO - £210 (these come in made to measure calf measurements and they are my favourite boot maker of all time - they are on the pricey side but they are built to last for YEARS)
Office - £58 (in the sale)
House of Fraser - £145
John Lewis - £135
John Lewis - £145
Tan boots .. need? Lust? Like? Want? Desire? Love?

Mine are from Zara!
ReplyDeleteOooh I didn't think of them and I don't look on their site ever!
DeleteI love tan, it's such a great neutral as it goes brilliantly with black, navy and grey! The John Lewis ones are my favs, tan suede look amazing xx
ReplyDeleteI have 2 pairs but need more!
DeleteNow tan knee high boots I do have! And flat ones! I've not worn mine for a few years now properly - it might be time to give them a bit of an airing.
ReplyDeleteGet them out!
DeleteLove but worn through two pairs the last four years. Admittedly just New Look ones so cheap & not made to last. Now have flat brown ones but would definitely go for tan again in future.
ReplyDeleteI've had the cheap ones that don't last if worn a lot. The DUO boots I invested in have lasted a VERY long time (years)!
DeleteI'm afraid knee high boots are not for us who are short if keg- they just dig in to the back of the knee! Now if only they came in different leg heights as well as calf widths.....
ReplyDeleteOooh now THAT is a genius idea!
DeleteWell I am looking for tan ankle boots but after seeing these I might need a knee high pair also! Have a good week:)
ReplyDelete~Anne
You need both/all/every which way they come!
DeleteI love a pair of tan boots, they are so timeless and classic. I would love some riding boot style ones x
ReplyDeleteTan boots are so versatile, I love mine. Like the look of the John Lewis ones.
ReplyDeleteI love tan boots dnd I have a few pairs. I'd already spotted those Next ones - they're gorgeous! I have a Nexf pair from a couple of years ago and they're still going strong. Lynne x
ReplyDeleteTan boots seem to get better with age. Mine are about 6 years old, scuffed as anything and yet, I love them more now than I did when I bought them. I didn't wear them last year as it was all about the ankle boot but they'll be coming out to play soon x
ReplyDeleteI lvoe knee high boots and regardless of whether they're 'in' or not, I've worn my black ones every year for the past five years. This season, I think it's time for a tan pair as well. Love the first pair you've shown x
ReplyDeleteI've got some lovely ones from Pied a Terre, and didn't wear them at all last year, but after reading this I am definitely going to dig them out!
ReplyDeleteAbbi x
Love the pink and the zebra ones! I think I have the same Primark ones as Lou! I still have them....mine are still going strong, they still seem to come out each year! xx
ReplyDeleteJones the Bootmaker is where I got my heeled tan boots a few years ago, they tend to rehash similar styles every year x
