Nano Link Hair Extensions

It's been well documented that I have hated my hair for years. I've over dyed it, cut it short, cried when it won't grow, the frizz, the thinness and all that goes with getting old.

When a good friend said she was having hair extensions I didn't consider it at first because firstly I thought it was too expensive for me and then I wondered about what it would do to my hair.

But the thought of instantly long hair was too alluring. My friend was using someone who came HIGHLY recommended - Ellie from Rapunzel Hair Extensions. She's a mobile hairdresser who believes every woman should be able to afford amazing hair.

PRICE: £200
Maintenance: £45 ever 6-8 weeks
Hair dye: £25

How versatile is the hair?



I thought it would be hard to maintain them but they're super easy. You just have to wear your hair up at nighttime to stop the tangles. I use a tangle teaser brush as recommended by Ellie and a Pantene protective spray. That's it!

To say I'm in love is an understatement - I'm finally starting to feel happier about how I look.

What do you think? Was I right to have the extensions?

    Wow, they look really great Fiona! Luckily, my hair grows really quickly albeit so much thinner than it used to be :( x

      Mine just doesn't grow AT all - it's depressing really! Now I can swish away!!!

      They're interesting. Next time she comes to adjust them I'm having some length taken off - it's too long. I do love the thickness it gives me!

    Ab-so-flippin-lutely! They look amazing, Fiona! I had extensions when I got married, and I just loved swishing all that hair around while I had it. It looks fantastic! xx

    Looks amazing Fiona. I think having dark hair helps disguise the beads - I've seen them in my colour and they don't look half as good. But then they probably didn't have

      I've not seen a blonde one yet but I think I agree that dark hair is more forgiving.

    Absolutely right Fiona, your hair looks amazing so thick and luscious!! They look fab and I love them in a pony tail, my hair in a pony tail looks like one strand, yours looks like a cheerleader's..Love!!!

    Ooooo! I thought you had clip ins all that time!!! I have LONG been considering getting a more lasting option like these and yours look amazing Fiona! I'd be wary of damage to my (already hideously dried out) hair so definitely intrigued to find out what you think if and when you get them out.
    That aside... you've awoken a need and a desire in me again to have them done lol x

      Your hair always looks so gorgeous Sera! These last up to a year so I won't know the damage until end of the year! I figure if it's that bad I'll just have extensions again!!!

    Wow, how stunning do you and your hair look! I think when your hair's not right, no amount of new clothes, make up etc makes a difference to how you feel. So i say it was def worth paying the price for...Fiona you look gorgeous!! Helen xx
