Mango Sale - EPIC

Last week I was just minding my own business when I was reminded by a friend about the Mango sale. Reluctantly I went over to the website and I was then trapped for a long time deciding what to buy! I've been so good for the past 9 months to not buy everything I see .. so it was a dedicated purchasing decision when I added things into my shopping basket. I could have added 1 million more items but as I say, I am trying to be careful about how I shop. I've become incredibly tight too so if it's not on offer/sale or just a complete bargain anyway I won't buy it. One day I'm sure I'll fall into that pot of money I was born to fall into but until then I'm going to be a tight shopper.

Here is the haul - £70 in total which I think is bloody brilliant for a jacket, jeans, top, 2 bracelets and 2 necklaces.

Here is me layering it up! (the jeans are not the ones you see in the photo above, these are my TK Maxx bargains bought last year)

Jacket - £29.99
Tshirt - £8.99
Gold Bracelet - £3.99
Teal Necklace - £3.99

Question though .. what to wear on your feet when you have low boots like I have on? Am I going to have to get some of those silly sockettes? Is that even how you spell it? I have bare feet but as it's snowing outside I feel a bit daft!

  1. That's a pretty good haul, I have just paid more than 30 quid for a second hand Zara jacket on eBay!

  2. Amazing bargains! That jacket looks fab. Understand re the boot question, I am always cold so couldn't possibly not wear socks. My ankle black suede boots look ok with a single turn up and I wear black socks. Maybe wear a sock and roll down a notch? x

    1. I tried to roll down but could still see them so bare cold feet for me!

  4. That's a great haul!! love the jacket LOTS! And a great question about the socks. I tend to match the trousers but that's tricky with denim. In the case of these boyfriends, I would do barefoot with those white cotton sockettes...yes..it's up there with jeggings as a truely awful fashion word..haha! Ax

  6. ADORE that jacket - there is a coat similar on the US site that I am very tempted by but it's summer here!:(

    1. Let's not forget we never get summer here - always need a jacket even in 'summer'!!
I shall be going to sports shop to buy trainer socks (which I can wear with my converse too!)

  8. Anklets for me. And I am really sad - I even co-ordinate the colour of my anklets where I can so they blend in to the boot should you be able to see them for any reason. Sad. Really sad.

The Mango jacket was worth the wait - it looks fab on you. I even got to the point where I was hovering over the button thinking "Should I??" but I have bought too many jackets recently.

The question I need to ask is - where is your belt from???

    1. I'm as sad as you then because I will be buying grey, black and brown trainer socks to match the boots!

      Belt is from Sainsbury's! £6

  9. That jacket is just gorgeous Fiona, you've reminded me that I have a mango one that's only been on me once. I hate having cold ankles so have been doing normal socks with ankle boots and just hope no one notices!

    1. Thanks! I have tried before on my phone to leave comments and they look like they've been sent but .. not!
I felt really good wearing it and that's half the confidence trick - to feel good/look good and then a great day is had!
