Where to buy a faux fur gilet?

EDITED: I started this blog post on 14th October and then left it in draft form. I've been SO inspired by ladies on Avenue 57 this week so I'm getting it out of the drafts bin and carrying on from where I was before!

 Here are the pics that have me lusting after one with an unhealthy desire.

 Joanna from Poppy's Style is wearing the JonnieB Faux Fur Gilet which comes in at just £35.10 (they have 22% off until Thursday so hurry!). It's from their teenage range but I reckon it's good to go for us grown ups too!

This is look is just gorgeous - a gilet over a denim jacket - INSPIRING!

All started because this amazing lady posted this look the other day!

Suffice to say, the faux fur gilet is 'in' this season! I cannot wait to get mine and wear over my denim jacket ... baa baa baa

      I can't decide which one to buy. What I DON'T WANT is that fake fur feel - you know the really harsh fur feeling. The White Stuff one is so soft - I might just bite the bullet - I'm worth it!

    I totally agree with this post,I want one too. There is one in the window of Next at the moment that I want, but am also toying with a furry coat I've seen in DP. Decisions, decisions.

    Thankyou so much for the photo, super super flattered! I love the White stuff Gilet looks beautiful and the asos one, a real statement piece. I bought a brown one from Mango last year which looks good over my tweedy riding coat..but the black one looks good over black biker and denim...Ooooo...the endless possibilities! Fab selection, happy gilet shopping! x

    I love a faux fur so warm and snuggly. I bought one on Ebay, but when it turned up it was real. What do you do then? I hate the idea of creating a market for cruelty with new fur, I'm less bothered about vintage since, those animals probably didn't suffer the horrendous treatment of mass production chinese factories. I don't think we can even imagine what happens, and it is often cats and dogs that are being used. But what do you do with something like that? to throw it away seems even more of an insult to the poor creature whose pelt it was. I gave it to my mother in law who is a tiny little thing and lives in a house with very little heating, some how that seemed to bring an acceptable balance to the situation.

      OMG I'd have been sick at the real one in this day and age. A bit like I felt last week at the stockists in London and there was a real fur one - it was beautiful but I walked away as fast as I could. Agree about REAL vintage ones.

      Report back if you can! I have just ordered The White Stuff one and the Tesco one. If you're looking at the Matalan one, we may just have this covered! I do want black but I don't want the long Next one
