I love white jeans but rarely wear them. Don't know why because when I do I love them!
Quickly shoved on white jeans today because it's summer like weather but I can't be bothered to shave and tan my legs #scabbylazybitch
Here are some ideas to recreate my look
Wrap Jumper - House Of Fraser
White Jeans - Topshop
Ankle books - Seven Boot Lane
White jeans in Autumn/Winter? I say yes!

Grey ankle boots
I went away this weekend to the British seaside with 2 of my girlfriends. We had no plans other than to drink and eat. We did very well at those two activities.

Wanted: Fringe Boots
I was short of time on Saturday so literally walked past these, stopped, turned back, stared at them and cursed my lack of time for trying them on.
I'm surprised they're as expensive at this - it's Next we're talking about. They're usually very good at keeping prices lower but I'm surprised by the £68 price tag for a pair of fashion ankle boots (fashion meaning they're trendy now but who's to say they will still be next year?).
Ginger Suede Fringe Boots - £68
Other places to buy tan fringe boots?
New Look - £59.99
Office - £75
Matalan - £25
Saw these Ash Jalouse look a likey's too - £52
Miss KG via John Lewis - £95
ASOS - £50 (LOVE THESE)!
Dune - £99
Fan of the fringe?

THE best wrap/cape ever .. or is it?
Last week the ladies on Avenue 57 were all in a frenzy about this 'amazing' cape/wrap/shrug knit thing from Tesco.
It started with this picture
Helps that Tanya is just gorgeous and stylish anyway. DO NOT talk to me about how stunning her hair is .. just don't OK?!
Then that picture above lead to these below!
And on the real model (This cape is only £16 by the way)
MY OPINION
I got mine yesterday. I picked it up, I tried it on, I put it down. And repeat 3 times. In the end I asked the ladies on Avenue 57 what they thought and before anyone had responded I thought sod it, I'll buy it, take it home and see if I love it even more there. So it's sat on a hanger waiting to be loved because I don't love it right now. I just wanted to look like Tanya and I don't!
I got the M because they didn't have S and I think it's too big? I also didn't intend to share this photo so apologies for its crapness. It's ok, it's a bit itchy scratchy due to the wool blend, it has a funny leather trim too it that you can't see and I think it'll annoy me as you don't wrap it around your body and there is no fastening mechanism so it just hangs and I fear it might fall off and just slip down and generally bug me!
To cape or not to cape, that is the question?

Slogan tops - yay or nay?
I used to hate them with a passion. Now I passionately love them.
I have 2 items but I'm on the hunt for more. I want more jumpers instead of tshirts as it's starting to get cold.

Cheap alternative to the Chloe Marcie
I haven't been on the Mango website for a long time. I'm still on a spending ban of some sorts. I really need to save for LA as I know I'll want to spend there and at the moment I'm not that inspired about what the high street has to offer. That is until I spotted this beauty online at Mango.

Eat Clean : Train Lean
You might think by the title that my blog and body have been taken over by someone else. I am now reaching 42 (2 weeks to go) and suddenly my body is not the same as it always has been. In clothes I know I look the same, the benefit of having thin arms and legs. But my middle is just swelling each week. I know what the problem is - WINE. I love wine, I genuinely love love love it but drinking every day has now started to take its toll. The wasted calories and how they are making my tummy wobble and I've gained some great love handles! I know I am slim, I am a size 10 but TO ME it's all about keeping in control of what you've got and I'm starting to get a bit out of control, so time to reel it in.

Bye bye hair extensions
I used to have nice hair, then I cut it, then I tried to grow it but it wouldn't grow so I cut it again, I hated it after a while, I wanted it long, it wouldn't grow #groundhogday.
So 5 months ago I decided to get some hair extensions put in. £200 which I didn't think was a bad price at all for instantly longer hair. But then I didn't think about the £45 per month maintenance cost. On top of that it still needing colouring and cutting. The lady that usually did the mainetance is no longer available so I had to look for a new person but the only one I could found charged £60 per month. It all starts to add up doesn't it just for hair. And the fact I missed being to run my fingers through my hair, brush it from root to end ... so last night I pulled them all out (not in a manic frenzy kind of way but in a gently does it kind of way)!!
So here we are from before, during and after (May 2015 to June 2015 to September 2015).
Products I'm going to use for styling:
Guardian Angel Heat Protection Spray from Amazon
Living Proof from M&S for thickening
And I need to find a good hairdryer that doesn't blow my thin hair all over the place! The one I have now is too powerful.
It's going to take some getting used to as it's really thin in comparison to 200+ extenstions in but I'm going to have to grow to love it because £60 per month on top of my already non budget for spending is too much. Plus I have a 10 day trip to LA in October to save for!
What do you think? Better now or with extensions?
