Girlie weekend in Portugal

Back from my weekend in Portugal - lots of laughs, lots of sun, lots of wine and lots of food. I am on a serious detox this week (yeah right)!

What I wore to travel in (up at 4am so this light is not great)

4 day break - capsule wardrobe

On Thursday morning at 5am a driver (taxi to you and I!) is coming to pick me up and I'm going to Gatwick to join 11 others for a 4 day/3 night break in Carvoeiro in the Algarve. We're staying in townhouses at Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa and I am VERY VERY VERY excited!

I don't want to over pack, I don't want to under pack so I've put some thought into what I should take and will then add a few more choices if I have space.

I've got lots of mini bottles of hair/face stuff and will leave them there after the weekend.

I have a friends 40th to go to this summer and I'm all in a quandary about what to wear. I was on the Esprit website as theirs was the latest sales email to drop into my inbox. There hasn't been a day gone by in the past 2 weeks where someone somewhere isn't declaring it sales time.

Remember the other day I was going on about a new brand I'd heard of via the ladies on 'the avenue'? Well they only got in touch with me asking if I'd like to review a dress! THANK YOU!

I spent a very long time on the site. The reason is ALL of their clothes are gorgeous. From colours, styles and fit (length).

I finally chose the Sid Cravat dress because I like to hide my crepey chest skin and I love the ruched middle for the wine baby I'm carrying and the length looked perfect (no bum skimming here now I'm nearly 42)!
