Top 10 wax coated jackets

And so it arrives - Autumn! I'm secretly pleased because weather like this unleashes a whole new wardrobe that has been abandoned for months!

I'm layering up today for warmth and a day of working from home so never going to win any style awards but I'm warm and cosy.

My wax coated parka is the best thing I have bought in YEARS. It's exactly what I need for days like this - wet, windy and cold. It has the largest hood ever and totally protects you from all elements. I can hear you crying .. where did you buy it from? Sorry to say, USA last year (Burlington Coat Factory)! The brand is BEBE.

      I always forget about Marks because our local one is so small. Might have to visit online. I could do with a more fitted one I think - a jacket as opposed to a coat

    I love that Barbour one! I bought a thin parker style jacket earlier this year and I am already regretting not investing in a bigger one! x

      Barbour do make amazing waterproof jackets. They are very popular where I live (dare I say it ...... too popular)!

    I love the River Island one but can't justify it as I already have a Whistles black one (snagged brand new on eBay a couple of years ago!)! xx

      I have one from RI but it's not waxed, it's just an oversized parka. Wait for the sales I say!

    I have parkas but no waxed ones. And the waxed Barbour I had, I got rid of. But I do like the idea of them and I prefer that Barbour you featured to the one I had however I cannot justify a new one as I already have my black Zara parka from last year which I still love. And it's only a matter of time before it comes out in full force.

    I'd like one with a huge furry hood. I think Warehouse had a perfect one in last year. Why oh why didn't I buy it. You lucky girl picking that up in LA x
