If I can do it then so can the big brands

I've decided to offer free UK delivery on every order regardless of the size. I want to make a point that if I can do it THEN SO CAN OTHERS. I want to name and shame but there are SO many of them out there that charge for delivery and I fear I will miss some of them out!

ASOS and Boden absolutely have it right but that is because they started out as online stores. They've never had a high street presence and so their own way of doing business is online and with the customer at the forefront of their mind and not profit. The irony is that they receive more orders because of the free delivery (I am guessing but I bet it's true)!

As of today, Avenue 57 Pop Up Shop will offer free UK delivery on any order!



Here's a quick summary of what was posted on Facebook yesterday (all new stock goes on there first and then after 48 hrs or so it goes into the main online store).



Particularly in love with the faux wrap cardigan (first pic) and the best selling wrap bracelets myself!

Feel free to name and shame the stores that put you off buying online because of charging for delivery!

    You are amazing Fiona....I take my hat off to you for championing free P&P as it most certainly puts me off buying from the big brands!! Good luck with it all as I'm sure this will attract lots of new customers! xx

      Thank you Michelle. I just want customers to have no barriers to ordering from me. It's also a lesson for the greedy big brands!

    I loathe paying delivery. I think it's such a cheek, particularly if you've spent a fair amount. I always top up my order if there's a limit for free postage. Good on you, Fiona. I hope you get lots of orders!! Lynne xx

    I hate paying delivery - been spoilt by Boden I think. If I need something I always check asos b/c of the free delivery. Good for you Fiona :)
