How to jazz up an outfit

I always believe a necklace or scarf and a pair of heels can jazz up ANY outfit and today I am showing you exactly that.

Here is a typical 'mum' school run outfit. Jeans, tshirt, jumper and ballet pumps.

Long sleeved tshirt - Sainsbury's
Striped jumper - New Look (ancient)
Jeans - Gap (ancient)
Shoes - Clarks (ancient)
Necklace - Avenue 57

Just by adding a statement necklace you can make it look more interesting

Turn your jeans up to add another look - I'm favouring BIG turn ups right now

Finally, the good old 'add a pair of heels' to make it from drab to fab - I'm loving this! I wont' lie to you, I've not put the heels on for the school run - I wore the ballet pumps.

Do you love necklaces? Heels? Do you often take an average outfit and jazz it up?

    1. If only I'd worn those heels all day - might have been kinder on my feet than the ballet pumps!
