And now I want some more but I'm not sure I want Stan Smith's or Gazelle's or the Samba. I kind of want one of each and all elements of each of them rolled into one WHICH IS WHAT I HAD WAY BACK THEN!

And then over on Pinterest
Here is my shortlist
Honey Stripe Low Shoe £47 - this is the closest in style to my originals that I can find. I'm REALLY tempted.
Decisions decisions - these or those above?
What trainers do you have? I can't quite get into the proper full on training shoe that looks like I should be at the gym or running like these (which I just love for the colour)

I still haven't joined the trainer or the slip on club...only got my filthy muddy running ones.....but if I was choosing from your shortlist I'd say go for the red and white ones.

My Midlife Fashion
I don't know why I'm hesitating so much ... I am wondering how much I will wear them .. I don't like to buy just willy nilly!
DeleteI love adidas. My running kit is all adi as well as my regular trainers. I had some amazing pale pink ones years ago at uni, they were either samba or something else but it escapes me & I've never spotted another pair since :(
ReplyDeleteIsn't it annoying - I can see you feel my pain!
DeleteLOVE the first option - so different from what everyone else has!
ReplyDeleteThat is what I want - something different but still part of the trainer gang! Off to search for a code and BUYING!
DeleteI may have bought myself, for Mothers Day, some Nike Free in black. I never want to wear heels again I just want to bounce around every day (because that's what it feels like your'e doing in them.) I am really into the trainer, skate at the mo. I never thought I would type that sentence. X
ReplyDeleteI'll never do the skater shoe - EVER! Same as I'll never do the wedge trainer!
DeleteI still haven't bought them - I have my white KG trainers and I'm wondering how often I will REALLY wear them - god I am pathetic!
My Gazelles are back in the wardrobe - I don't want to get them wet. Pathetic! Let us know if you purchase any new ones x
ReplyDeleteThis is the EXACT reason I'm not buying - I won't want to get them dirty or wet!
DeleteOh gawd..... so hard to choose.....you've been so good can't you just get all 3?? Lol! I would go for a classic white pair, I love both of the Adidias.....I'm not helping at all am I?! xx
ReplyDeleteI've still not bought - !!!!
DeleteWhen I decided I wanted the NB's I didn't look at any other brands as that would of confused me too! I do like the Stan Smith Original, they are a true classic but the Nike Free Run are also nice........ oh dear.
ReplyDeleteYes, you're as much help as I seem to be for myself!
DeleteI love the honey lo stripe trainers, you should definitely go for them...quick though as before you know it heels will be back in fashion again 😉 thanks so much for the mention xxxx
ReplyDeleteBy the time I do make the decision you are right!!!!
DeleteI love the Honey Stripes & think they will suit you better than the Stans! They will look great with all your striped tops too! Go for it! Ax
ReplyDeleteI am swaying in the wind - do I? Don't I? Do I? Don't I?!
DeleteHi Fiona! Loving this new sneaker chic trend! Let's here it for fashion AND comfort!
ReplyDeletei'm so scuzzy i just bought a pair of sport direct own brand trainers, not 100% sure what their name is, but they are so comfortable, and i can legitimately wear as 'fashion' at work (generally with wideleg trousers so no one can see that they are SD specials!)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need to do this - the non brand type that are a fraction of the price and just try it out
DeleteThis is probably a good time to confess that I now own 4 pairs...when I take on a trend, I don't do it by halves, eh?! I just love how they dress down an outfit and they are just so damn comfy! xxx
ReplyDelete4 pairs??! I have one already that I rarely wear, I'm wondering if I will really wear a second pair
