I have loved this dress for as long as I've had it (couple of years now). Today in the style challenge set up by Modern Mummy it's 'dress'. I could have chosen one of the 14 million day dresses I have but I am working from home and attempting to monitor 4 children whilst aiming to keep the husband (working from home also) in a room away from the noise that said 4 children will make! Fortunately the children are 3 boys aged 10, 9 and 6 and a little girl of 4 (this I think will be wear the 'working from home' is going to fail!).
Wearing a jumper dress is literally like wearing a jumper so for me it ticks all the requirements of comfort/style/ease of wearing etc etc.
You don't need to pay a lot for a jumper dress and here are some ideas for you from a variety of online stores if you want to buy one too.
ASOS - £35
ASOS - £35
Karen Millen - £115
Mango - £22.99

Hi Louise! Just checked out your blog - wow, stunning. You should post on avenue57.com and show off your look - the ladies would LOVE you on there!
Deleteand perfect with your teenie wee little physique! The sales are here, my-wardrobe has Ash wedge trainers for 80 quid, can't even buy the knock offs for that, are they an investment or have they had their day?
ReplyDeleteI can't get on with wedge trainers - I look like I am wearing orthopedic shoes!

Love jumper dresses but they can be very unforgiving ... on me at any rate. Perhaps when I've lost 2 stone!!!! But you look great ... loving the 'model' comment, LOL
ReplyDeleteI took it off in the afternoon because after scoffing so much lunch I looked like Vicky Pollard!
DeleteI've been looking for one that doesn't look too clingy, was hoping to bag one in the sales but the Hobbs one I like is still eighty odd pounds grrr xx
ReplyDelete£80 is a lot for a jumper dress! I want a new one that isn't as tight as this one
DeleteYou look lovely in yours but it's wonderfully suited to your frame. I have lady lumps and I seem to have acquired a few more since Christmas day.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated New Year to you Fiona! Look forward to seeing you in March!
