Grey boots - how many times?

Can one woman wear a pair of cheap as chips grey boots?  I wanted some grey shoe boots 6 months ago - I didn't want to pay a lot because I didn't think I would wear them much .. how wrong was I?

I have worn them so many times and they are so versatile I am laughing now at the £11 price tag! They won't last, they're not real suede and I am wearing them a couple of times per week at the moment but I'm searching for more and I will buy. They were from Peacocks. They have a new style that is more boot than shoe boot so I'm not sure they will work with skirts and dresses - here they are, what do you think? I will wait until the end of summer sale and buy both grey and brown if reduced - I am SO tight!

Where else can you buy grey shoe boots to wear with summer dresses/winter dresses/jeans/trousers - that'll be everything then?! I've searched and some are more boots than shoe so that's not going to work .. or is it?!

Anne Michelle Frill Top Peeptoe (Amazon) - £25

 Debenhams - £52

 FashionWorld - £45

Jones The Bootmaker (House of Fraser) - £110
 Anne Michelle (Amazon) - £19.99

 Next - £60 (too booty?)

If you have seen any super gorgeous super cheap grey shoe boots then please let me know!

Do you have an item that you wear again and again and again? Do show and tell over on Avenue 57

    1. Amazon for cheap disposable shoes is a good place to start.
I work from home so never have the need to 'dress up' - some days I wish I did!

  4. I wear all of my grey boots to bits. I have them in booties, calf-height, and full height, and I definitely get a ton of use from all of them. Dollar for dollar (or pound for pound), they are worth the cost per wear!

You look darling in all your outfits fashioned around the boots. I think my fave is the all black one with the animal print scarf, though!

    1. That was truly a day I couldn't be bothered but I'd seen someone else on Avenue57.com where a black dress and someone else the animal print scarf so I just threw it all together with no thought!

I should have known I'd wear them because I wear grey/silver so much now - it's an age thing I think!!!

  5. They are 30 quid with postage, which I am not sure I would call cheap, but my measure is so off. I just bought an organic chicken for 25 quid and the last boots I bought were moon boots for the snow for 3.99.
