Hollie from Mummy, Wife and Chaos first posted about tie dye jeans in a little fashion group/chat we are a part of and she posted a pic of what had inspired her and why she wanted some - and I totally got it - like a lightening bolt from the sky I was instantly now in love with the tie dye look.
She then posted her look on Avenue 57 and teamed her dye tie jeans with a gorgeous quilted biker jacket - I love this look - do you?
So over to the inspiration - first Elle and then Gwen - swoon
So a quick 5 mins search on the internet and I bring you tie dye jeans you can buy today and won't break the bank!
Next Print Skinny Jeans - £28 - these are the one Mummy, Wife and Chaos is wearing - love them
ASOS Skinny Jeans in Tie Dye - £35
River Island Dark Wash Tie Dye Amelie Superskinny Jeans - £35
Missguided Marnie Tie Dye Jeans - £24.99
New Look Dr Denim Blue Tie Dye Skinny Jeans - £44.99
Warehouse - Tie Dye Jeans - £35
Forever 21 Tie-Dye Skinny Jeans - £22.75
Or do I just buy some cheap jeans from Primark and make my own? I do not own a single bone of creativity so I'm guessing for this passing trend I'll be heading to River Island!
Would love to know if you love or loathe this tie dye trend?
Fiona

I'm not a fan when it comes to me wearing them but I love them on Hollie and on Joanna - but they are both rock chick enough to carry them off. It's a bit like the ripped jeans - there's something (in my mind) student-y about them...showing my age now! Great selection though and I think you're right about the RI ones being the nicest x
ReplyDeleteOf course, Poppy's Style looks amazing in hers
DeleteJoanna - can you post a link to your look here?
I feel the same way. Love them on others but not on myself.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to order and try the River Island ones - only when I have them on will I know if I like them - on paper they look amazing
DeleteI have a pair hiding somewhere keep meaning to pull them out, love Hollies and I think you'd be able to pull them off no problem with our long skinny legs Fiona!!
ReplyDeleteLOL thanks - I am going to order the River Island ones
DeleteHere's a link - mine are H&M and I think they still sell them in stores - very stretchy and ver comfy:) http://poppys-style.com/2013/04/02/running-out-of-time/
ReplyDeleteLOVE Elle's look - she rocks them...
Now that's what I'm talking about - those are amazing, I remember now - DAMN ... they are H&M old .. I WANT NOW
DeleteI was going to say the same as Trea - you can pull them off Fiona with your fabulous legs!
ReplyDeleteawww thank you! I shall aim to order the River Island ones when I fall into some more money!!
DeleteElle is all over the place at the moment, does she have a new pr? New stylist? And is there a picture somewhere looking old and wrinkly as I swear she hasn't aged in the last 20 years!
ReplyDeleteShe looks amazing doesn't she? I want some of what she's having! I've always loved her style. Perhaps there is a new series of the model program she hosts?
DeleteHi there! Wow, they do look great and I especially love the Next ones best, they are 'trendy' but printed jeans I think will be in style for a long time to come yet xx
ReplyDeleteI'm also wanting some floral ones too - they are everywhere as well!
DeleteI'm too dumpy for them! My 27" legs would look horrific all bound up in tie dye jeans! I'll leave this one to all you gorgeous skinny minnies! However, if I had liposuction 2moro Id buy the toned down Warehouse version! ;) Andrea x
ReplyDeleteLOL you do not need liposuction and you do not appear to have short legs .. you're a good shape - I reckon they would look alright you know
DeleteJust got around to my blog catch up, thankyou for the mention!
ReplyDeleteLet out your inner rock chick ;) x
It's screaming to come out!
DeleteOnly doing my blog catch up now too. I'm with Avril I'm afraid .. like them on others, but not on me (and did them many years ago, so feel I've scratched that itch!) But go for it Fiona, you definitely have the legs for them!
ReplyDeleteWhen I find that pot of money I will!
